Rock Entertainment Group and the Cleveland Cavaliers Appoint Galen Davies Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer

CLEVELAND – Rock Entertainment Group (REG) and the Cleveland Cavaliers today announced Galen Davies as Executive Vice President (EVP) and Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). 

In this role, Davies will lead REG’s commercial teams, including ticketing, suites, membership sales and service and partnerships, along with guest experience, youth sports programming and the enterprise’s consulting efforts. He will connect the Cavaliers, Rocket Arena and the full portfolio of ventures to deliver a singular commercial strategy for the enterprise. WME led the search process.

Davies brings more than 20 years of experience in the sports and entertainment industry to REG. Most recently, he served as EVP and Chief Revenue Officer for the Portland Trail Blazers and Rose Quarter. In this role, he oversaw ticketing, premium sales and partnerships and elevated the organization’s global strategy. Before Portland, Davies spent 15 years at Maple Leafs Sports & Entertainment in Toronto, advancing from corporate partnerships into senior leadership roles spanning commercial strategy and brand. He began his career with stops at IMG and the Toronto Blue Jays.
