The Cleveland Cavaliers, in partnership with the City of Cleveland and Downtown Cleveland, Inc., have unveiled development plans for an evolution of the greenspace located on the corner of East 4th Street and Huron Road, locally known as “Meet Me Here” plaza, to commemorate the Cavaliers’ 2016 NBA Championship.

Located across from Rocket Arena and directly adjacent to Cosm Cleveland, which is scheduled to open in 2027, the project will feature a professional-size Cavs-branded basketball court, seating, active greenspace and artwork celebrating the team’s iconic championship.
The activation will serve as an accessible, community-oriented destination that celebrates a significant moment in Cleveland’s history while contributing to the ongoing vitality of downtown.
The evolution of Meet Me Here plaza, commemorating the ten-year anniversary of the Cleveland Cavaliers’ 2016 NBA Championship, is expected to be completed by June 1, 2026.
