CLEVELAND – The Cleveland Cavaliers and Rock Entertainment Group today announced a new partnership with Payactiv, the access standard for earned money that helps businesses expand Earned Wage Access (EWA) and financial wellness services for their team members. Payactiv offers users access to wages they have already earned, with no-fee access options available. The company also provides access to tools designed to help manage everyday budgets, unexpected costs and long-term financial goals, showcasing how financial access supports today’s workforce.
Payactiv and Rock Entertainment Group will use the partnership to celebrate the team members who make gamedays and live events possible, through in-game recognitions, annual appreciation events and in-arena storytelling.
“At Rock Entertainment Group, our team members are our top priority and greatest strength,” said Alberta Lee, Chief People and Culture Officer for Rock Entertainment Group. “We are proud to partner with Payactiv to celebrate the people who make events and gamedays possible, from guest experience engineers to environmental services, who power everything we do at Rocket Arena to create the best fan experience in all of sports.”
The agreement stems from a nationwide partnership with Oak View Group (OVG), allowing the company to provide a scalable way to deliver financial flexibility across its workforce, powered by Payactiv’s infrastructure connecting employers, payroll systems and financial services.
“Every great event is made possible by the people behind it,” said Safwan Shah, co-founder and CEO of Payactiv. “With Payactiv, The Cleaveland Cavaliers and Rock Entertainment Group is giving its employees more flexibility to access the money they have already earned, when they need it. We are proud to support the people who make these experiences possible.”
